Pinocchio's story begins with a kindly woodworker, Geppetto, who crafted the little wooden boy and wished upon a falling star that the puppet could come to life. New and naive to the world, Pinocchio is led astray by seemingly trustworthy characters. When he fails to return home, Geppetto searches for him and ends up in the belly of a whale. Upon learning this awful news, Pinocchio fearlessly makes his way to the bottom of the ocean to save his father.
