This multi-directional dongle can be set up to transmit or receive Bluetooth(R) signals. In transmitter mode, it can stream an audio source to a Bluetooth(R) capable receiver or standalone Bluetooth(R) speaker. In receiver mode, it can receive streaming from a Bluetooth(R) capable smartphone, tablet, laptop, and more, to play on your stereo system, computer, headphones, etc. It retains full digital quality with a digital TOSLINK optical input and output, but also includes an analogue AUX input and output for older systems. The device supports the latest Bluetooth(R) 5.0 technology, and allows two Bluetooth(R) devices to be paired at the same time. It's compact size and internal rechargeable battery makes it extremely portable. A 2 hour charge provides up to 12-15hrs working time.
